About the editor

Hallo, my name is Regina Axt. As a specialist of internal medicine, I came in contact with Bioenergetic analysis in 1980.
A patient of mine suffered from high blood pressure. It was to see that he had some problems; he was very tense, had sweaty cold hands and was very obedient. He could not tell about any problem, because he was not aware of any. A psychologist advised that he needed a therapy where he could not interfere with his rationality. The matter was that he had some wishes, but about 100 excuses not to fulfil this wishes. Bioenergetic analysis was suggested.
I never had heard about and was very suspicious to expose my patient to something unknown by myself. I phoned the office and ask for information. An introduction course for people working in the healthservice was adviced to me, I did it and since than I am excited about this way of working with people. I did the training to become an therapist.

From 1996 I was thinking about an scientific journal to informe people about research done in this field and I am happy it could be realized in 2003.

Here you see me in discussion with Alexander Lowen on the International conference in Cape Cod near Boston( spring 2005)
