In particular:

Does the make-up of the article conform to the required sections: 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology (description of the techniques, the materials, the setting etc.) 3. Results, 4. Discussion, 5. Conclusion, 6. References. Check each section:
Introduction:
This paragraph must lead onto the subject by giving an overview of the existing publications of this topic. This overview should be critical and explaining the reader why the subsequently described approach was taken.
Methodology:
This paragraph must contain a detailed description of the setting when dealing with patients, of the technical set-up in case of follow-up (video, tapes, protocolls, questionnaires etc.), etc.
Results:
This paragraph must contain the results of the study, either descriptive or in form of tables or graphs. When statistics were used details must be given. When the study is a case report, the patient`s true identity must be protected by giving a him/her a new first name or initials. An ICD-10 Diagnosis and a character structure diagnosis according to Lowen (or according another conceptual approach) is mandatory.
Discussion:
This paragraph must be a critical discussion of the results achieved, with reference to other similar work. The Conclusions of the work may be incorporated into the discussion if the work supports this.
Conclusion:
This paragraph may be short. The author must sum up what he/she has concluded from the work reported and how the work in the future will be altered due to the results achieved. Also futuristic mention can be made to possible new investigations or new concepts.
References:
Check the list for style as outlined in Instructions for Authors. They must be rigorously followed.

Conceptual and Theoretical Articles

Here essentially the same outline as above applies. Since these articles do not report empirical data the reference to the Methodology section does not apply. The emphasis of the quality of the article is here on the Discussion part.
